If any man have not the Spirit of Christ....he is none of His.
All of our Lord's teachings are powerful and His teachings in the Gospels are the only teachings in the NT; the only teachings that pertain to us and the only teachings we are to follow. The remainder of the NT reiterates, rephrases and reinforces the teachings of Christ. The great commission is about the Gospel, the demonstration of belief in the Gospel and the growth in Grace to be conformed into Christ's Image because of this Gospel. This conformation into His Image can only occur if we crucify our flesh and follow all His teachings.
If any man have not the Spirit of Christ....he is none of His. Our Lord clearly warned repeatedly to follow His direct teachings in the Gospels and reiterated throughout the Epistles. Those who do not teach others ALL that Christ taught have built they hopes of eternal life on SINKING SAND. In other words: A false perversion of Christ and not the Christ of Scripture.
This is nicolaitan doctrine at work at its best to deceive. This false teaching came from men serving mammon and not the Christ of the Bible. These are the big shots who have assumed roles of rulership over the body of Christ as a whole. They practice apostolic succession in the most deceptive of ways. They have ignored the New Testament as gainsayers making merchandise of God. Instead of the only two offices of leadership within local neighborhood churches, they have built their own tabernacles making the surrounding areas come to them. This is in direct contradiction to God's model of local neighborhood churches spreading out house to house clearly outlined in Acts.
My earnest prayer is to help those who are deceived with a powerless "gospel". I believe satan's biggest hoax in these last days is the unregenerate "gospel" that distorts/misnames Scriptural evidence of the new birth as a work's based salvation doctrine.
Ill advised men have taken this paranoia so far to the left that it leaves only a mental assent Gospel, intellectually delivered vice Spirit of God delivered. These teachers have become apostate and refuse to acknowledge it publicly. However, many admit that they may have been wrong, even dangerously wrong, with this cheap gospel perversion but it is too late to go back now and correct. They would lose face and we all know how important human pride is to God. Both of these made up "doctrines": lordship salvation and unregenerate salvation are equally damning...
Saving faith is not an intellectual exercise, it is a supernatural transformation into a new person with new desires and interests, all of which are eternal and Heavenly, none of which are temporal or worldly. And make one thing clear...The Spirit will not conform you to Christ's Image against your will. You must earnestly want it with all your heart and strive for it minute by minute. YOU MUST LEARN TO WALK WITH GOD. How? By LISTENING to His Word daily in prayer for the Spirit's Truth. The more you listen to Him the MORE YOU BECOME LIKE HIM. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Bread of Life. His Word.
God's truths are always tricky when only intellectual analysis is conducted. This is because the Holy Spirit bears witness with our spirits, that we are the sons and daughters of God. No external assurances are ever needed. This is why no Scripture indicating the giving of assurances to believers exists. It would be a paradox. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God, not commentaries, not "Christian" novels or any other "supplement" men have sinfully published for profit, making merchandise of God.
Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. (Note that it will be the Spirit of God within you that will transform you mortal body at the last trumpet, so make sure He is present)
A little later in Galatians, our Lord's teachings are reiterated again as evidence of the new birth:
Gal 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
This is my primary point, anyone who tells you that Christ's teachings in His Gospels are for some past group or future group and not the local NT Assemblies is a very dangerous apostate. Jesus calls them wolves in sheep's clothing.
I fear most today have believed a very clever lie. Everything about you as a "believer" is to be in Christ's Image. This is what the word "christian" means; to be a follower of Christ and His Teachings. If you claim Christ as Savior but these traits of Christ's Spirit are of no interest to you, then you have definitely believed in vain a false "Jesus". If you are a long standing "Christian" who was supposedly "saved" in a "church" that does not teach the great commission (whole message of Christ to man) then you are in a false church and must repent while there is still time.
The Sermon on the Mount is the litmus test: If you have been told that you are a believer because of what you say you believe about Christ, that classifies you as a Christian to other people. However, does it classify you as a child of God according to God? If no desire is present to actually follow Christ's teachings, then how can one claim to be a christian?? I personally have never met a true born-again believer who does not know by the Spirit inside them that they are to follow Christ in Word and action. I have met a 1000 times more professing "believers" who have no idea to follow Christ and absolutely no desire to do so either. They have the "rules" from their religious leader and that is all they want. This have been brainwashed into believing their are saved because they name Christ's Name and follow men's rules.
Oh they say they believe the surface message of the Gospel, even have a "saved on" date but they have no Spirit within them. They come to services 3 times a week and give grudgingly via the tithe, but their hearts are on the world's temporal pursuits even when going through the motions at church.
If we have the Spirit of Christ (Holy Spirit) than that desire to be conformed into His Image will be there. Just as any new born babe desires the milk of the Word to grow thereby. Christ's teaching are the Milk, meat and total package. So much so that His teachings are reiterated throughout each Epistle and never change. They are the fulfillment of the Law. Love the Lord with all your being and your neighbor as yourself.
The unregenerate versions of the gospel would have you confused into following David of the OT, or Peter or the tares of the Epistles. Yes, anyone except the Christ of the Gospels. Claims by the "indoctrinated of men" about the "whole counsel" of God would have you living under OT examples of failure, cherry picked of course to match our carnal desires and a cover for our lack of the Spirit's presence in our lives. Not an attack, but a necessary reproof. This came from nicolaitan perpetuators.
I know, seems simple but in these last days satan has created and maintained a fog of confusion over the paramount matter of regeneration; the renewing of the mind and desires of the heart. If no renewed mind, then no new birth has occurred regardless of how many out of context passages are given to verbally assure someone. Out of context because the typical passages used to reassure always demonstrate evidence of the new birth in their contexts (this part is excluded when giving assurances of course). The passages supplied by many to demonstrate Christ did all the work are also plucked from their contexts because their contexts also reinforce the evidence of the new birth. Search the Scriptures and see for yourselves. Double check the full context of all those "plucked out" verses used for this purpose. Confusion will quickly clear out if you do.
We should all examine our hearts to see if the traits described by our Lord for His people are present in us. If we have no desire to transform our fleshly attitudes into all of these Spiritual attitudes then it is Scripturally clear that there is no Holy Spirit present. Success will be relative to our walk in the Spirit but the desire is the critical and revealing part. If the below is of little interest to you than you have missed the point of Christ's finished work completely. He saves no one to remain conformed unto this world. So are we fake or real? Weed or wheat? Study these carefully in much prayer and then you decide.
3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Logically, Those that aren't - wont be there
4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Those that don't - won't be comforted
5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Those are aren't - won't
6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Those that don't will remain filled with themselves and their temporal pursuits
7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Those that aren't - won't
8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Those that are not - won't
9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Those that are not - will not be called the children of God
10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Those that are not - will not see this Kingdom
11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Now, here is a enlightening exercise, match verses 11-13 to any big shot "Christian leader" you have known of. If this does not ring true with them, and it won't, then you will know the truth about them.
12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. (if you preach the Truth of God's Word - you will be persecuted, ridiculed and blasted by the world, including the religious lost) you will never be revered or spoken well of.
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
What are these good works?? Reread vs. 3-12, then continue through Chapter 7 of Matthew.
Our Lord goes on to say: Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Matthew 7: 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
It is no coincidence that vs. 22&23 the (Lord, Lord religious) was written in the middle of the context of His Sermon on the Mount. It refers and relates directly to this sermon and clearly demonstrates those who will be fake and those who will be real; those who are wheat and those who are tares.
Very soon my friends, we will see first hand Matthew 7 play out. Because the vast majority of professing "christians" have built their houses of faith on SAND, they will believe the lie of the beast. They will not endure until the end, selling out the Lord for a piece of bread.
Have you put your hope in a house built upon sand (part time religion in Jesus' Name) or on Christ, the Rock? I am warning those who have ears to hear it and pray that many will.
