Christ’s Teachings: If you die here, and replace your identity with Christ here; You will bring forth much fruit and your fruit will remain.

Let your life be hid with Christ in God.

Christ:

John 12: [24] Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

Just like seeds of the earth, if they do not fall to the ground and die, no other new wheat will be born again by them. Only God knows the fruit each believer produces. We cannot even guess and should not guess. We are to spread the Good Seed of His Word in context.

[25] He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
[26] If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

So to die with Christ is to abandon your old identity and let Him live through you. To hate the old you, the old you full of you and everything about you. Your wants and ambitions for this temporary life.

I Corinthians 3: [5] Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?
[6] I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
[7] So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
[8] Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
[9] For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.

John 15: [4] Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
[5] I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

It is all about His Word and sharing His Word. No clever speeches, no clever clichés. If we walk with Christ and emulate Christ, His Words will be hidden in our hearts and will flow out.

NOT by wisdom of words:

I Corinthians 1: [17] For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
[18] For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
[19] For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
[20] Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
[21] For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
[22] For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:
[23] But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
[24] But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
[25] Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
[26] For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
[27] But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
[28] And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
[29] That no flesh should glory in his presence.
[30] But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
[31] That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

John 15: Continued: [6] If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
[7] If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
[8] Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
[9] As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
[10] If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
[11] These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

Galatians 2: [20] I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

COLOSSIANS: Your life down here is to be Hidden with Christ in God.

Colossians 2: [16] Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

Remember: God only cares about the heart: it is men whom care about the appearance.

[20] Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,
[21] (Touch not; taste not; handle not;
[22] Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?
[23] Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.

Such regulations indeed have an appearance of wisdom, with their self-imposed worship, their false humility and their harsh treatment of the body, but they cannot enable us to overcome the world.

Only when we crucify ourselves from this world will we have the power of the Spirit to live our lives hidden with Christ and overcome the world.

Seek no recognition of yourselves among men in appearances. The esteem of men is mammon and is hated by God.

Colossians 3: [1] If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

This is the definition of the new birth, the new life.  If the Spirit is in us from our faith then we want to look upward and into the future AFTER this life.

[2] Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

[3] For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

[4] When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

[5] Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
[6] For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
[7] In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
[8] But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.

[9] Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
[10] And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

We finally can understand our purpose for life and existence.

[11] Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.
[12] Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
[13] Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
[14] And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

[15] And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
[16] Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
[17] And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Always praying in the Spirit, walking with God just as if you were walking and conversing with ME. Walk with HIM.

[18] Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.
[19] Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.
[20] Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.
[21] Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.
[22] Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God:
[23] And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
[24] Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
[25] But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.

Colossians 4: [1] Masters, give unto your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven.

The "masters" mentioned above can be saved but from that time forward they would not continue to improve their status in this life, their reputations nor their accomplishments in this physical life. Their physical life is now dead to them, looking forward to an Heavenly Country.

Part of being crucified means that the direction you had for your earthly life stops and your life becomes hidden with Christ IN GOD.

Phil.4: [11] Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

I Corinth 7: [20] Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called.
[21] Art thou called being a servant? care not for it: but if thou mayest be made free, use it rather.
[22] For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant.
[23] Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men.
[24] Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God.

In other words, whatever state you are in in this world when you believed, remain that way.

The point being is that your life is now hidden with Christ in God. You have no more interest in this temporary matrix of Satan. Your life is now Christ’s and Christ is in you through your awakened Spirit.

[2] Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;

When we trust and believe, we now realize our purpose for existence. To walk with God as His grateful friends, serving Him from this day forward.

[3] Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:

Supplication in prayer for His saints to remain strong and walk with God and warn all others.

[4] That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.
[5] Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.

Take advantage of our remaining time in this temporary fake world. Warn all others.

[6] Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

Your life is hid with Christ in God. The more of the old you that leaves (old things of the world, memories, interests) the more of you in Christ shows through.

Think of yourself as a glass full of you, your past, your accomplishments, Your ambitions on this earth, Your ego and Your sense of self worth in this world's system. A system that ignores the Creator and only esteems men's meaningless and temporary pursuits apart from God. God whom made you for His Pleasure only and for no other reason do you exist.

1st century believers were poor in every way and those that were not when they believed, became poor by distributing to the necessity of all saints.

Last century "fake believers" of a false "Christ" are rich, lazy toward God and full of the world's fake pursuits and without a care for eternity.

Overcoming the world is sacrificing yourself in it to look only upward. Overcome your flesh and die to it and the fake world's temptations.

Crucify with Christ your earthly affections and lusts.

Let's contrast this between the Old and New Testaments of God's Word:

In the Old Testament and also once again from the Great Tribulation (last 3.5 years of the tribulation) through the Millennium and Eternity:

Faith was by sight so the blessings and rewards of God to His Children were always visible physically and were earthly blessings which could be SEEN.

In addition punishments for the wicked were also earthly and could be seen by all.

In the New Testament since Christ's ministry until the end of the Church age:

Faith is without SIGHT in this church age meaning all the Blessings of God to His followers are Spiritual only and Heavenly not to be seen of others.

In addition punishments for the wicked are also Spiritual and Eternal and cannot be witnessed on this earth by anyone.

There are no physical Blessings of God upon us during this age that we live in. All of our rewards and loss will come Spiritually and directly by Jesus at our Judgment during the Tribulation period (Judgment Seat of Christ).

Please see our Two Judgments page and our Billy Graham and others like him page for further explanation.

Eternal Security comes only from Saving Faith:

The real question is not whether believers are eternally secure. The real question when this issue comes up is whether one truly has saving faith.

Eternal security goes hand in hand with saving faith. Saving faith causes regeneration by the Holy Spirit into a new person with Heaven bound ambitions only. If we are not focused solely on the eternal after this physical life than how on earth would we believe we have eternal life now? Think on this with an open heart.

Christ's followers in the first century and the martyrs after them truly believed the Gospel. Saving faith according to Jesus results in your hunger for His teaching and your obedience to His teaching the rest of the days of your physical life.

False "gospels" encourage false believers to rest on a non-existent "idea" of eternal security while keeping all the cares of this temporary life. Scriptural security in Christ's Sacrifice applies only to those whom have truly been born again into a new creature. Those whom have lost all interest in this temporary world controlled by Satan turning all their interests toward their Heavenly Reward.

If our hearts and minds are truly crucified with Christ, would we be wrapped up in career and family and getting ahead in this life and accumulating wealth and things of this world just like the unbelievers do?

Would we give any mind to the things of the world like hobbies, sports (NFL, MLB, etc), pastimes, entertainment, etc...just like the unbelievers do?

Would we care what our neighbors think and fear their reviling of us for Christ's Namesake? Or would we surround our houses and cars with the Gospel and make it known to all that we truly believe. Belief so strong that we become "fools for Christ", Hell so real, that we cannot waste another minute on the temporary things of the world and must warn all that we come across. As Jesus clearly said, no true believer hides their light under a bushel or basket, they display it boldly for all to see.

Would we have the guts to stand on street corners with Gospel signs warning all who pass by of the coming judgment? You know instead of taking a trip to Disney land or a fishing trip or a golf outing? Would our interests change away from these temporary, worldly pleasures and to toward Eternity?
