Revelation 9 & 10: Mystery of God Finished!
Chapter 9:
[1] And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.
​
Remember, the seven stars are the Seven spirits or the Seven Angels of the Churches.
​
[2] And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.
***Background about this "pit": This is the pit that leads to THE ABYSS: It was before their time to be chained in darkness until the Judgment of that Great DAY so they begged not to be sent into the Abyss or Bottomless Pit yet.

Revelation 12 describes this history, is parenthetical and historical as an overview of Satan's history with God and His hatred for God.
Jesus led captivity captive in the bottomless pit (another part of hell) triumphing over all principalities with His Resurrection and Ascension back to Heaven.
​
Note: "Leading captivity captive" is frequently misinterpreted to mean He lead the Old Testament believers still in Paradise in the center of the earth to Heaven. This is contradicted throughout the remainder of the New Testament. One example is the first resurrection and the rapture of the remnant of believers at the mid point of the Tribulation period. Only the fathers of the 12 Tribes and Christ's Apostles in the first century are in Heaven seated around the Throne of God. No other believers from any age are present at this time as God also reveals with His prophet Daniel. At the Rapture, the "dead" in Christ rise first. A clear indication that all believers since Adam & Eve are still in Paradise or Abraham's bosom.

Also, please note that there is absolutely NO MENTION of any "believers" in Heaven or around God's Throne until the tribulation begins and the last saints of the church age are martyred for Christ.
​[3] And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
[4] And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
​
Rewind back to Chapter 7:3: The 144,000 witnesses will not be affected.
​
[5] And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.
[6] And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.
[7] And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men.
[8] And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.
[9] And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.
[10] And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.
[11] And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.

Both names mean the same: The destroyer who betrays and he is the first BEAST.
​
[12] One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter.
​
As discussed in the previous study of Chapters 7 & 8, these 3 WOES are God's final warnings just before He shuts the door of the ark; evacuates those remaining alive who are clothed in the Righteousness of God by the Blood of the Lamb. At the 3rd or final Woe (the 7th Trumpet) God finishes His Mystery of the 2000 year church age; the age of God's Grace; the age of FAITH WITHOUT SIGHT. After these woes, God allows strong delusion (courtesy of their pharmaceutical sorceries-Artificial Intelligence) and gives the inhabitants of the world over to the the dragon, the beast and the false prophet. Thus the inhabitants receive only lies and will not receive the Truth of God.

1st Woe: 5th Trumpet - Armies of stinging locusts and Abaddon emerges to possess the beast.
2nd Woe: 6th Trumpet - Armies of the fallen who have been bound in the bottomless pit since the Ascension of our Lord, the pouring out of His Spirit over all flesh and the completion of His Written Word to man. These have been bound 2000 years.
3rd Woe: Rapture of the remnant of believers not yet martyred for Christ. The Door in Heaven is shut and the "church age" is over.
​
Realize that these two WOES (the 5th and 6th Trumpet announcements) mark Satan's hatred and betrayal of all men and women. Satan uses his rich men of the world to deceive the masses and then destroy them preventing them from being reconciled to God.
​
However, even after this, God's mercy and Love for us is once again evident by His 2 Witnesses and His 144,000 preachers redeemed from the earth who preach His Everlasting Gospel to spare even those who did not believe prior to the 3rd Woe. Those whom believe the Everlasting Gospel during the last 42 months prior to our Lord's Return in Glory and survive without the mark will be allowed entrance into our Lord's Millennial Kingdom and given another opportunity to worship, serve and obey the Creator as all peoples were originally created to do.
​
[13] And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,
​
Once the bottomless pit is unlocked at the 5th Trumpet, the locusts come first with the Spirit of the Beast or Abaddon/Apollyon.
​
Then at the sixth trumpet satan’s fallen angels follow closely behind the locust. Finally being loosed as God used Peter to describe:
​
Remember at our Lord’s Ascension after His Resurrection, He poured out the Holy Spirit over all flesh and gave God's New Testament to man binding all fallen angels in the bottomless pit until the end of days. At which point God allows the fallen angels who have been pent up in the bottomless pit under the Euphrates River for 2000 years to unleash their destruction and hatred of man. This event logically drains the river Euphrates as God indicates next.

Ephesians 4: 8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
​
​Do you see the paradox? As Jesus sent the comforter down, pouring His Spirit over all flesh. He at the same time chained the fallen angels in the bottomless pit. As His Holy Spirit and His Complete Written Word to man spread over the earth, these fallen angels were sent to the bottomless pit until the end of days. These are the GIFTS God gave to man during the church age of faith without sight.
Demonic possessions ended after the Spirit's arrival and the completion of His Written Word to man. The angels who fell with Satan are now chained in darkness (bottomless pit) until God allows them to be loosed upon mankind again in the Great day of His Judgment as detaile in this Chapter.

**NOTE: Just in case you were wondering about the "alien" talk and UFO's that has resurfaced recently. This will be the beast's explanation of these horrible creatures plaguing the earth. Does CERN in Switzerland cause this release? All the other Trumpet Announcements are the results of rich men's tampering with God's natural order of things so CERN is certainly the likely reason.
​
[14] Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.
[15] And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.
​
Verse 15 shows us the point at which the counterfeit "temple" rebuild begins (3rd Seal discussed in Chapter 6) and the mid point of the final Seven years. The abomination of this counterfeit "temple" is the "green light" from God for these fallen angels imprisoned in the bottomless pit under the Euphrates to begin their preparation to attack once the rebuild is completed. This also shows us that it takes roughly 391 days to rebuild this fake "temple" of which the Beast will seize and declare himself "god". This once again indicates that the trumpets all occur in rapid succession near the mid point of the final seven years.

[16] And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.
​
These are those fallen angels wreaking havoc, death and destruction worldwide which fuels the coronation of a world leader (beast) who claims to have all the answers and the solution to this destruction.
​
At the 6th Trumpet Announcement there will no longer be small time demonic possessions as were prevalent during our Lord's Ministry. Oh no, but at this point Satan's fallen angels whom have been imprisoned in the bottomless pit for 2000 years will openly attack and destroy a third part of people whom remain on earth. This is Satan's betrayal against his own worshipers. This is the "fruit" of sin and rebellion against God. Remember the name Abaddon or Apollyon means the destroyer whom betrays. Satan always betrays his followers. He wants them dead and in hell before they can see the truth of his lies. Later we will see how Satan betrays his own fake "church" and destroys it and Chapter 18.

Look carefully at the literal descriptions of these horsemen (fallen angels):
​
[17] And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.
[18] By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.
[19] For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.
[20] And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:
[21] Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

Are the locusts the horsemen? No the horsemen ride the locusts.
They are "locusts" or the Lord would not have mentioned that they do not harm vegetation.
Chapter 9:4 reveals that only the 144K who have the Seal of God in their foreheads will be spared. The rapture occurs or has recently occurred at this point.
Locusts: Armies of horseMEN
-Like horses unto battle -THEM that sat upon (horses) they ride the locusts
-Heads like lion manes (crowns) -horses heads match the locust heads
-Faces of men, hair as women
-Teeth of lions
-Breastplate of iron -Breastplates of FIRE and Brimstone
-Wings like chariots -No wings for the riders
-Tails like scorpions -Tails like serpents with heads (another descriptive of the locust tails)
Explanation of the Mysteries God mentions throughout His Word:
The Mystery of Christ (and dispensation of Grace):
THESE ARE ALL THE SAME THING THAT THE LORD WANTS US TO UNDERSTAND:

When God speaks through Paul about these mysteries, it is evident throughout that He means it was a mystery to the Jewish leaders and teachers throughout Israel's history. These were blind to God's True Intent for us.
​
CONVERSELY there is a mystery of iniquity:
​
Chapter 10: This Chapter is parenthetical and refers to the 3rd or Final WOE or Catching away of His Remnant; shutting the door in Heaven, completion of the Book of Life and the finishing the list for the Marriage Supper of the Lamb:

[1] And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
This correlates to Chapter 14 and our Lord's Description in real time at the catching away of His Church age remnant. This is the Lord Jesus Christ
​
[2] And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,
​
This is the Lord Jesus Christ holding the open Book of Life. His foot placement indicates His soon triumph over the Beast and False Prophet (which come out of the sea and out of the earth).
[3] And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.
​
More evidence that this is the Lord Jesus Christ. Note the parallel from Daniel 12 which God gave us to connect these dots. This is proof positive indicating the Great Tribulation (Jacob's Trouble) for 3.5 years or 42 months or a time and times and half a time will have begun.
​
[4] And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.
[5] And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,
[6] And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:

Time no longer? Jesus is reading the Book of Life and declares it is done, time is up. The Book of Life of the Lamb is Complete. THE AGE OF GRACE is now OVER and the Door in Heaven just like the door of the Ark of Noah's day is SHUT. This is a direct reference to the Rapture about to occur and final evacuation of God's people from a crumbling earth ruled by Satan since Christ's Ascension in the first century.

[7] But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
​
The age of God’s Grace through FAITH WITHOUT SIGHT IS FINISHED.
​
The Mystery is finished because the Lamb’s Book of Life is now complete, and the RAPTURE occurs at the this point, the LAST or seventh trump or Trumpet.
​
Why would God say that His Mystery is finished at the Seventh Trumpet blast if this Seventh Trump blast is not the last Trumpet blast?
​
There are no mentions of trumpets after this seventh trumpet remaining in Scripture.
​
God implies an order of trumpets when He states at the last trump. If there is a last trump then there is a first and everything in between.
​
**NOTICE THIS MYSTERY, WHICH References the Mystery of God above in verse 7.
Notice the dead shall be raised incorruptible just as our Lord did, Whom spent three days and three nights in hell as our Substitute but His physical body saw no corruption. Do you see the correlation here?
​
The Rapture marks the finishing of the Book of Life. Anyone who avoids the mark because of the testimony of the Two Witnesses and the preaching of the 144,000 Jewish male virgins AFTER THIS POINT will be allowed entrance into our Lord's earthly Kingdom. These will be among those whom the Lord will rule over with His saints during His 1000 year Reign. These will not be eternally spared the Lake of Fire but will have to prove their faith during His Millennial Reign.
​
You see, they won’t believe by faith without sight like we have for the last 2000 years. They will see firsthand the destruction of the earth via the Trumpets and the Vials of God's Wrath. They will also see the miracles, signs and wonders of the 2 Witnesses and the protection of the 144,000 sealed by God to PREACH the EVERLASTING GOSPEL. Some whom have resisted the mark or worship of this beast due to their geography and life outside of the beast's financial systems will see that they whom rule the earth have been on the losing side of God's History. They will now fear the True Creator because of the signs and wonders from Heaven.
​
Those whom reside in the industrialized world where electronic finances rule will (due to their programming by the shots and digital ID) still blaspheme God over the plagues and destruction:
[8] And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.
[9] And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.
[10] And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
​
Bitter sweet because John has now seen the finalized Book of Life. He sees his own name but also sees that most names are blotted out. Ezekiel's prophecy teaches us that the Book of Life shows most racial Jews blotted out and also commands Ezekiel to continue to prophesy against Israel just as our Lord tells John in the next verse below: Our Lord knew of course that Israel will not receive the truth of God. National Israel is beyond redemption without Great Tribulation in the end which will save a small remnant.
​
[11] And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.
​
Chapters 11-13 details the ramifications in Heaven and on earth of God’s Mystery being finished. Chapter 14 describes the details of what happens.
